Biography
Charlie McMahon
Charlie mastered the didgeridoo from an early age and became one of Australia’s most acclaimed players of the instrument.
His work has always pushed at the boundaries of sound. With Gondwana, Charlie blended driving rhythms and outback ambience while placing the didgeridoo at the heart of a genuinely live band.
Charlie has contributed to film soundtracks and recorded or performed with artists and ensembles including Jane’s Addiction, Ed Kuepper, Midnight Oil and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
